Prior to founding South Shore, Melanie was the Chief Executive Officer of the Twofour Group. Twice awarded Broadcast’s prestigious Indie of the Year, Twofour was voted number 1 in the Broadcast Peer Poll and produced hit series including BBC One’s highest rated unscripted series The Real Marigold Hotel, the multi award winning Channel 4 documentary series Educating…; Channel 4’s The Jump and ITV’s global format This Time Next Year. Awards include an Emmy, a BAFTA, 5 Royal Television Society Awards, 3 Grierson Awards and 6 Broadcast Awards. At the end of 2019, following the completion of the company’s sale to ITV, Melanie set up South Shore- a brand new independent company- with key members of the Twofour Management and Development team.
